How You Can Help

If you have been happy with your care at Staten Island University Hospital, we hope you'll tell you friends about us. If you want to go a step further, there are many ways in which you help.

As a nonprofit community hospital we are grateful and proud to pursue our mission. It is with the support from our families, neighbors and friends like you that our hospital can meaningfully progress in medical discovery and health care services.

If you wish to become involved with SIUH, please know that you can make a donation to the SIUH Foundation. There are various types of gifts, may be unrestricted, which allows a broader flexibility to meet the needs of the hospital. The gift may be restricted for a specific purpose, such as a particular program, department, in honor or in memory of a loved one, or you may participate in a Charitable Gift Annuity.

Patients and family members may wish to show their gratitude and appreciation; recognizing the physician or staff with a contribution to the hospital. To do so, the hospital has initiated the Grateful Patient Fund.

Here are some additional campaigns you may like your support directed to:

Feel free to contact our Office of Development, (718) 226-6331, if you have any questions regarding your gift or would like to discuss further opportunities. Any inquires you may have will be dealt with promptly and confidentially.

Please make checks payable to the SIUH Foundation with a specific fund addressed in the checks memo. Gifts to Staten Island University Hospital are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

We thank you for your gift.
