Telephone & Television Service

Telephones and televisions are provided in all patient rooms. Please be considerate of others by keeping the TV volume down and turning off your TV at bedtime. To activate your telephone and/or TV services at the North site:
  • Dial extension 9124.
  • Service at the North site is automated and can be accessed and activated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Payment types include credit card, cash, or check.
  • Representatives are available at the North site from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. for any service issues and to collect payment should you wish to not do so over the phone.
To activate your telephone and/or TV services at the South site:
  • Dial extension 3322.
  • Service at the South site is left in the "On" position unless you wish not to rent service.
  • Payment types include credit card, cash, or check.
  • Representatives are available at the South site from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. daily.
Dialing Out

To place a call, dial 7 + 1 + the area code. Local NYC 
calling is included in the calling area. Long-distance 
calls must be billed to a credit card, charged to a third 
party, placed collect, or made using a calling card. Dial 
"0" to obtain a long-distance operator.

Calling hours and "Do Not Disturb"
  • You may receive incoming calls from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.
  • You may make calls at any time 24 hours a day, however please be mindful of your neighbors if making calls during quiet times.
