If at any time you have questions or concerns about the quality of care that you or a family member are receiving or have received at our hospital, do no hesitate to speak with your nurse or the nursing supervisor. If you feel that your issue wasn't resolved , please contact The Department of Patient Representation at (718) 226-8851 with your compliments, complaints, or concerns. You may call at any time during or after your stay.

Rapid Reponse Team

SIUH is participating in the national trend to eliminate problems that affect optimal patient care. As a result, we have created a "Rapid Response team."

The Rapid Response Team is a group of specially trained individuals who bring their expertise to the patient. The purpose of the team is to quickly check the condition of the patient and provide help before there is a medical emergency such as a heart attack.
