Providing assessment and assistance with referrals and linkages of services in the community, and at Staten Island University Hospital, to help the older adult and family caregiver. Services include counseling, information and assistance on concrete services, short-term and long-term care planning, community education and caregiver support.

SUPPORT GROUPS
including Caregivers, Well Spouse, Coping with Loss, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy, Seniors with Adult Children who are Developmentally Disabled, Elder Abuse, Early Stage Alzheimer’s Disease, Stroke, and many more, are located throughout Staten Island. (718) 226-6331
CAREGIVER SERVICES PROGRAM
Iin partnership with the Jewish Community Center (JCC), and the Community Agency for Senior Citizens (CASC).
The program provides supporting services to caregivers who are caring for older adults, 60 years of age and above, who are either cognitively and/or physically impaired. Services include individual counseling, support groups, training, and respite services.
