Otolaryngology / ENT, Head and Neck
The Division of Otolaryngology is committed to excellence in clinical care, research and resident education, and is a collaboration between Staten Island University Hospital and the New York Head and Neck Institute (NYHNI).
New York Head and Neck Institute (NYHNI) is a world-class center for the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical problems of the head and neck. NYHNI consists of nine centers, each focusing on a type of disorder or anatomical area of the head and neck. Each center offers medical therapy and the newest minimally invasive surgical techniques to cure the condition or improve our patients' lives. We use this minimally invasive approach whenever possible, which ensures a faster, more comfortable recovery for our patients.
We treat both adults and children for problems of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck.
Our physicians are all board ceritifed or board eligible, and strive to meet patient needs by offering flexible appointment scheduling, same-day emergency appointments, foreign-language interpreters and deaf services. In addition, the Division of Otolaryngology provides inpatient services and has ENT specialists on-call for emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
