Dr. Herway is Assistant Director of the specialty of Maternal Fetal Medicine within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Herway has participated in numerous research studies publishing and presenting on such topics as fetal intraperitoneal transfusion for iatrogenic twin anemia-polycythemia sequence after laser therapy, the differences in mid-trimester amniotic fluid components between women who conceived spontaneously or following in vitro fertilization and others. At the Center for Women’s Health, Dr. Herway manages, coordinates and supervises the care administered to patients with high risk obstetrical issues in the ambulatory and hospital settings. She reviews obstetric and gynecologic sonograms performed at the hospital’s Antepartum Testing Center. Additionally, she teaches and supervises residents, medical students and ultrasound technicians.
