Cardiology Fellowship Program

MISSION

The Cardiology training program at Staten Island University focuses on training physicians in cardiovascular medicine committed to a career in clinical cardiology. Training not only provides all the fundamental skills necessary to enable a physician to become an exemplary clinician and mentor, but also instills the utmost respect for the patient, stressing the critical importance of compassionate and caring doctor/patient relationship.

The Cardiology Fellowship is a three year ACGME approved program. The patient care clinic and laboratory rotations for the fellows follow the American College of Cardiology Guidelines and comply with ACGME requirements.
