Cardiology - Fellowship


Rotations

1.  Noninvasive   (EKG, Stress, Echo, Post op surgery)

2.  CCU/Consult , EKG

3.  Electrophysiology

4.  Cardiac Catheterization

There is also a Continuity Clinic that runs all year.

During these rotations the fellows will be exposed to a wide variety of  clinical problems involving coronary artery disease, electrophysiologic disorders, and valvular disease. Preventative teaching will take place during lectures rounds and the continuity clinic. Congenital disease is addressed during lectures, rounds, and echo conferences. Research is strongly encouraged.

Fellows are encouraged to become part of available clinical trials and develop case reports on interesting cases that are encountered during their rotations. The fellows are to develop and complete a research project during their fellowship.
