Research is encouraged at our institution. Research professionals are available to assist in research design, and computers and other resources are available to help facilitate research.
Currently:
Dr. Brenner, director of nuclear medicine, is examining pre-targeting for lymphoma and gastric cancers.
Dr. Raia, director of mammography, is evaluating the significance of vascular calcifications on mammography and correlating with coronary artery disease.
Dr Hirschorn, director of IT, is studying the impact of monitor resolution.
Dr. Salvatore, director of the radiology residency program, is evaluating BNP and chest x-ray interpretation for CHF and optimizing pulmonary embolus localization with CT.
