NSLIJ-Staten Island University Hospital hosted National Drug Take-Back Day with the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency on Saturday April 26, 2014. The event is aimed at getting unused and expired medications out of Islanders medicine cabinets to limit access to prescription medications, and to help avoid accidental poisonings and drug abuse.
