After an impassioned plea for help from his mother, 15 year-old Israeli, Guy Gold, arrived at Shriners Hospital in Boston for treatment on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 with charitable support from North Shore-LIJ SIUH and the Global Medical Relief Fund. Gold was severely burned and left comatose as the result of an auto accident in which his father perished in May, 2013, near Tel Aviv.
