Located in New York City, Staten Island University Hospital is a multi-site, 620-bed hospital with roots tracing back to 1863. A Level I trauma center and a teaching hospital with numerous affiliations, it provides full inpatient and outpatient services to a county of 400,000 persons, and has an extended sphere of influence that includes Brooklyn and New Jersey.

University Hospital's North site, located at 475 Seaview Avenue (zip code 10305), includes 437 beds. Medical/Surgical, coronary care, intensive care, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, radiation oncology, and rehabilition medicine are among the inpatient services offered. A free standing ambulatory cancer care center, a medical arts pavilion providing a range of outpatient services, and a free-standing Center for Women's Health are also located at this site.

The South site, located at 375 Seguine Avenue (zip code 10309), offers specialty programs that include Geriatric Psychiatry, a range of substance Abuse services, and perhaps the most modern surgical pavilion in the New York State.

University Hospital also maintains two satellite clinics and a Community Wellness Center at the Staten Island Mall. It has also developed several primary care and medical specialty centers in nearby Brooklyn.
