Lawrence Bodenstein, M.D. Director, Pediatric Surgery Dr.
Bodenstein holds bachelor and masters degrees from The Johns Hopkins University,
a medical degree from Harvard Medical School and a doctoral degree from Harvard
University. He has completed a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in
surgical critical care at Beth Israel Hospital (Boston) and a fellowship in
pediatric surgery at Babies' Hospital (Columbia University Medical Center). Dr.
Bodenstein is board certified in general surgery and pediatric surgery and is on
the faculty of Columbia University. He is a fellow of the American College of
Surgeons, the American Pediatric Surgical Association, the American Academy of
