Director, Pediatric Surgery

The Division of Pediatric Surgery provides general and thoracic surgical care for infants, children and adolescents. Our specialty includes:

  • surgery of the esophagus, stomach and intestine (including colorectal)

  • surgery of the liver, gall bladder, spleen and pancreas

  • hernia surgery

  • endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid)

  • testicular surgery (undescended testis, varicocele, tumor)

  • surgery in the newborn (correction of congenital abnormalities)

  • surgery of the neck, chest and lungs

  • surgery for cancer and other tumors

Minimally-invasive techniques including laparoscopy, thoracoscopy and endoscopy are used where applicable. Prenatal consultations for conditions diagnosed during pregnancy are welcome.
