Residency training in Adult Psychiatry in an AMA approved program at Creedmoor State Hospital, Queens Villiage, New York. Training included inpatient treatment, outpatient clinics, neurology rotation, child psychiatry and liaison rotation, supervision of first year residents, alcoholic intervention psychiatry, didactic lecture and spychotheraphy under the supervision of an analyst from Payne Whitney Clinic. Training background was partly analytically oriented.

October, 1969 to October, 1970

Rotating internship in medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and public health. Intensive training included day and night uninterrupted emergency room coverages, lectures, seminars, and clinical interventions.
